When to replace your tyres
The UK legal minimum is 1.6mm of tread across the centre three-quarters of the tyre, all the way round. We’d recommend changing well before that: worn tyres stop the car noticeably less well in the wet, can invalidate your insurance, and risk a fine and penalty points per tyre. If you’re not sure where yours stand, ask us to take a look — checking takes two minutes.
Fitted while you’re already here
If your car is in with us for a service or repair and needs tyres, we’ll fit them in the same visit — one trip, and you’re not driving on borderline tread in the meantime. Tyre condition is checked as part of every service.
